Supplier Code of Conduct
At MoneyMade, we are committed to conducting business with the highest level of integrity, ethics, and respect for human rights. We expect our suppliers, contractors, consultants, and other business partners (collectively referred to as “Suppliers”) to uphold these same standards. This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the expectations MoneyMade has for all its Suppliers in terms of ethical, responsible, and sustainable practices.
1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including those related to labor practices, human rights, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. This includes adhering to the regulations governing fair trade, workplace safety, and anti-discrimination laws.
2. Ethical Business Practices
MoneyMade expects Suppliers to conduct business ethically and transparently, including:
• Fair Competition: Suppliers should engage in fair competition, avoiding practices such as price-fixing, market allocation, or other forms of collusion.
• Anti-Corruption: Suppliers must not engage in bribery, kickbacks, or other corrupt practices in any form. This includes offering or accepting anything of value to gain an unfair advantage.
• Conflict of Interest: Suppliers should avoid situations where personal interests conflict with the interests of MoneyMade, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
3. Labor and Human Rights
Suppliers must uphold human rights and treat all workers with dignity and respect. This includes:
• Freely Chosen Employment: Suppliers must not use forced, bonded, or involuntary labor of any kind.
• Child Labor: Suppliers must not employ individuals under the minimum legal age for employment in their respective jurisdictions.
• Working Hours and Wages: Suppliers must comply with applicable wage and hour labor laws, including those relating to minimum wage, overtime, and legally mandated benefits.
• Non-Discrimination: Suppliers must not discriminate against employees based on race, color, gender, age, national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other status protected by law.
4. Health and Safety
MoneyMade expects Suppliers to provide a safe and healthy work environment, which includes:
• Taking proactive measures to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
• Complying with local laws and regulations regarding occupational health and safety.
• Providing appropriate safety training and equipment to employees.
5. Environmental Stewardship
Suppliers are expected to demonstrate environmental responsibility by:
• Reducing Waste: Implementing sustainable practices to minimize waste and promote recycling and resource conservation.
• Energy Use: Striving to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Complying with all environmental laws and regulations applicable to their operations.
6. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Suppliers must safeguard any confidential information shared by MoneyMade and ensure it is used solely for the purposes for which it was provided. This includes protecting intellectual property, trade secrets, and personal data, and complying with all applicable privacy laws.
7. Monitoring and Enforcement
MoneyMade reserves the right to monitor compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct and expects full cooperation from Suppliers in any audits, assessments, or investigations. Suppliers must promptly address any identified issues or violations and take corrective action as necessary.
8. Reporting Violations
Suppliers are encouraged to report any suspected violations of this Supplier Code of Conduct. Reports should be made to MoneyMade through established reporting channels and will be treated with confidentiality.
