How eToro makes money
Like other exchanges, eToro earns money through transaction, currency exchange and other fees. They charge zero commissions, and zero hidden fees.
Their pricing is done entirely with spreads. Most other brokers charge a spread on both the buy and the sell of an asset, but they only charge one spread, first charged when you buy the asset and adjusted when you sell it. eToro charges between 1%(bitcoin) and 5% on cryptocurrency trading, depending on the asset you’re trading. There’s a 0.1% crypto-to-crypto conversion fee. Users that have been inactive for more than a year will pay a monthly $10 fee. The minimum withdrawal amount is $30 with a $0 withdrawal fee.
